Congratulations On Choosing To Work in One of The Best Industries In The US!
So many people say to me, “Rob the railroad system is dying”, “Rob the railroads are a dying industry”. Yeah, yeah yeah I say. I will always tell them that railroad jobs will be around for all of our lives!
Ok I get it, trains and railroad are old school, (like me), but tell me this, what is going to replace trains and railroads? I have been in this game for many years and I don’t see a thing changing anytime soon, if ever.
Sure, trains and the technology behind them will get better and better, but there will always be trains. Sure things can become even more automated and there will be big changes, such as getting rid of the caboose. But, there will always be a human element and there will always be railroad jobs.
Trains are efficient, strong, capable, safe, and environmentally friendly too.
I am in the process of researching the best train conductor and in general railroad employment opportunities in every state of this country. I look forward to sharing with you all of my findings.
